  • Represented one of the largest global integrators of communication products and services for multinational corporations in a debt recovery dispute. The total disputed sum amounts to approximately RM1.5 million.
  • Represented an internationally recognised company that manufactures devices for numerous industries including banking, aviation, telecommunication and insurance in an action for utility innovation infringement and invalidation. 
  • Represented a Malaysian regulatory body for the recovery of licensing fees and contribution to a statutory fund as required under the relevant legislation.
  • Represented a China based company in a contractual dispute pertaining to solar power projects. The total dispute sum amounts to approximately RM11 million. 
  • Represented the Malaysian outfit of a world-leading global technology services provider in a dispute pertaining to leased circuits. Successfully defended the client from a claim in the amount of RM8.7 million.
  • Represented and advised a Malaysian robotic warehouse service provider against one of the largest British online supermarket and technology company in a patent infringement dispute.
  • Represented and advised a prominent medical group in a cybersecurity breach incident, securing a Mareva injunction to freeze funds that were fraudulently transferred out and successfully obtaining judgment in the group’s favor.
  • Represented and advised a Malaysian company involved in advanced manufacturing automation solutions against one of the largest British online supermarket and technology company in a patent infringement dispute.
  • Represented a software/system development company who provides software solutions and tools for design and development, integration, data warehouse, reporting and analysis, and business intelligence system in debt recovery exercises against main contractors of large governmental projects such as uCustoms and NIISe. The amount of dispute ranges from RM2.5 million to RM9.3 million.
  • Represented a subsidiary of a public listed Malaysian IT & TMT company in an arbitration against its former service provider pertaining to an i3S project in Malaysian schools. The claimed sum in the action was RM1.8 million.
  • Advised multiple leading technology companies on navigating and responding to the recently introduced social media licensing regime, providing strategic guidance on compliance and associated legal considerations.
  • Advised a Chinese internet technology company which currently owns one of the largest short-form video hosting service on the licensing requirements for the provision of its services in Malaysia.
  • Advised one of the world’s leading cigarette and tobacco manufacturing companies on its alternative to traditional smoking product which resulted in its successful launch in Malaysia.
