Rajah & Tann Asia (“RTA“) defends its reputation as the region’s premier legal network in the 2025 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide. Collectively, the network has been awarded an impressive 326 lawyer recognitions, an improvement from 315 lawyer recognitions in 2024. The network also improved to 82 practice rankings, with 50% in the top tier.
Singapore – Rajah & Tann Singapore upheld its exceptional record by maintaining 100% of its practice rankings in Tiers 1 and 2 across 23 local categories, an increase from 21 categories last year. Welcoming two new Hall of Fame titles, the firm is now home to eight practitioners recognised with this prestigious ranking. The firm has a total of 128 lawyers recognised, including eight lawyers entering the rankings for the first time.
Indonesia – Assegaf Hamzah & Partners secured all 14 practice rankings, with every ranking in Tiers 1 and 2. The firm also has an impressive 57 lawyers recognised, including three Hall of Fame practitioners in Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution.
Malaysia – Christopher & Lee Ong achieved an impressive 83% of practice rankings in Tiers 1 and 2. Additionally, they secured a Tier 2 ranking in the newly introduced category of Fintech and Financial Services Regulatory, with two lawyers recognised as Leading Partners in the area. The firm also improved its Capital Markets ranking to Tier 2.
Philippines – Gatmaytan Yap Patacsil Gutierrez & Protacio (C&G Law) kept 82% of its practice rankings in Tiers 1 and 2, and earned a new ranking in Transport – Aviation, as well as three improved lawyer rankings.
Vietnam – Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers maintained its practice rankings across the board, and has two lawyers ascending to Leading Partners in TMT, Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Dispute Resolution: Litigation.
Thailand – Rajah & Tann (Thailand) sustained all its practice rankings across five categories and is now a Firm to Watch for Tax.
Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos – Rajah & Tann Sok & Heng Law Office obtained a new Leading Partner title, while Rajah & Tann Myanmar and Rajah & Tann Laos maintained their respective lawyer and practice rankings.
Brunei – Rajah & Tann Singapore has been recognised with a Tier 1 ranking for its status as a Leading Firm in Brunei.
